I never thought I would come back like this, says Shamit Som

Bangladesh is still winless in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. After starting with a draw against India, the team lost 2-1 against Singapore. With this, Bangladesh lost two consecutive matches in the qualifiers.

Bangladesh also conceded goals due to their own mistakes against Singapore. This was a continuation of yesterday. Shamit himself says that goals cannot be given so easily. He said, 'We have conceded goals like this against Singapore. We have to learn from these. We cannot give such easy goals. We cannot win the game by giving such easy goals. We have to learn nothing. Everyone knows what to do, we will review the videos. The coach will teach us how to defend better in the backline and midfield. At the end of the day, it is everyone's responsibility. This is football. There will be ups and downs. They had their chances, we had ours. This is international football, it is clear that it is different from club football.'
